The Leduc Community Hospital Foundation welcomes George Canyon and Aaron Pritchett to
Leduc for drive-in concert.

LEDUC, June 4, 2021 – A major fundraising event to support the Leduc Community HospitalFoundation (LCHF), the inaugural Bringin’ the Country Back drive-in concert, featuring Canadian Country Music Association award winners, George Canyon and Aaron Pritchett, will be held on Sunday, July 18, 2021, at Castrol Raceway, just north of Leduc and west on Highway 19.

Since all in-person fundraising events have been postponed or cancelled due to COVID-19, so
many organizations, including LCHF, have had to find new ways to fundraise. So, when the
opportunity to host a drive-in concert with two big-name country music stars arose, LCHF
Executive Director, Colleen Zimmerman, and the Board of Trustees were excited to help bring this event to the community. While this will be one of the Foundation’s primary fundraising events for this year, bringing entertainment to the community has also been a big motivator, especially since the pandemic has stifled live entertainment for so long.

“We are thrilled to host George and Aaron, and with the support of such a fantastic venue as
Castrol Raceway and many important sponsors, we know it will be a huge success,” says Colleen. “And after the year we’ve all been through, the community deserves this.”
Canyon and Pritchett will perform with their bands on stage, which will include multiple big
screens and audio broadcast to vehicle radios.

There will be two one-hour shows, starting at 6:30p.m. and 9 p.m. Since the Foundation was started in 1993, with the help of the Foundation’s donors and the community, millions of dollars have been raised to enhance community health care in the Leduc region.

“This concert is an amazing way to celebrate that, but also to raise additional funds so we can
continue to provide support to the Leduc Community Hospital and local health centres in
Beaumont, Leduc and Thorsby.”Bringin’ the Country Back tickets go on sale Monday, June 7 at 10 a.m. and can be purchased online at https://www.showpass.com/bringin-the-country-back/.
