The Pigeon Lake Poker Rally is a great local event that brings the community together for a good cause!
There is a ton of community spirit that goes into the Pigeon Lake Poker Rally! With all the fun activities—from the dinner and dance to the poker stops on the lake, games, raffles, and that famous bake sale. The way the four school committees come together to raise funds for student experiences is truly inspiring, and it’s amazing that no student will be left behind when it comes to enhancing their learning.
Rural Schools make things happen in Central Alberta. Community spirit will be alive at the the 2025 Pigeon Lake Poker Rally. Poker Rally kicks off with a pre-event Feb 21, 2025 with a dinner, dance and games! The poker rally happens Feb 22 on Pigeon Lake. EVERYONE WELCOME. There is SOOOOO much to do: 5 poker stops on the lake, games, raffles, fantastic door prizes, a FAMOUS bake sale and soo much more! This event has four fundraising committees of schools of the Pigeon Lake Family of Schools coming together to raise funds for student experiences. Lakedell School Parent Fundraising Committee, Friends of Falun School, Friends of Pipestone School and Pigeon Lake Regional School students will benefit from needed equipment to enhance learning or experiences where no student is left behind!
