The Northern Alberta & Territories branch is pleased to invite you to be part of our 1st Annual Kilometres for Kidneys Motorcycle Poker Run on Saturday, June 23, 2018!
Starting at Blackjacks Roadhouse in Nisku where you will get a full hot breakfast, participants will “Ride the Kidney Loop” as they head to Mulhurst Bay, Camrose, Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta Beach, and back to Nisku.
At every location, riders will have time to stretch their legs, sit down at local restaurant for a quick snack, choose their new card, and play 50/50!
Proceeds raised at our inaugural poker run help support patient programs and services, research, education and awareness as we strive to impact the lives of Albertans affected by kidney disease, dialysis, and in need of an organ transplantation.
Over 600 Albertans are diagnosed with end-stage kidney disease every year and require dialysis. Additionally, nearly 700 remain on a transplant waitlist. By participating and supporting this poker run, you are helping impact the lives of these Albertans and giving them a second chance at life.
