Edmonton, roll up your sleeves.
This September, Haul for Hope returns to Edmonton International Airport, and we’re bringing the same grit, the same competition, and the same unforgettable energy that makes this event one of the highlights of the fall. Your team, ten to twelve strong, will line up against the clock and pull a 67,000 lb WestJet Dash 8 aircraft 100 metres down the apron.
It’s a test of teamwork. A celebration of community. And a day that moves real Canadian patients closer to the care they need.
Does your team have what it takes?
Why Edmonton pulls.
Edmonton is a gateway city. For families across northern Alberta, the Territories, and rural communities from Grande Prairie to Fort McMurray and beyond, getting to specialized medical care often means getting to Edmonton first. The region’s hospitals serve patients from some of the most remote corners of the country, and for many of them, the journey doesn’t end at the city limits.
That’s where Hope Air comes in. And that’s where your team comes in too.
Every meter you pull on September 28 helps a Canadian patient get from home to hospital. Every dollar you raise covers flights, hotel stays, meals, and ground transportation for families who would otherwise have to choose between their health and their finances.
One in three Hope Air patients say they would cancel or postpone medical care without our support. Edmonton, let’s make sure they don’t have to.

You’re pulling airside at an active airport, which means this is a high-security environment. All team members must arrive before the opening ceremony begins, and everyone is required to follow safety protocols throughout the day. We’ll send full details to registered teams ahead of the event.
What matters most
The difference you’ll make. In 2025 alone, Hope Air facilitated 38,392 travel arrangements and 10,288 patient and caregiver trips, supporting Canadians in 710 communities from coast to coast. Your team is part of how we get there.
Your Patient Captain is waiting.
Once your team registers, you’ll be matched with a Patient Captain, a Hope Air patient whose story becomes your team’s purpose. You’ll hear from them directly in the weeks leading up to event day.
When you’re pulling, you won’t just be pulling a plane. You’ll be pulling for them.
Edmonton, Pull Like Lives are on the Line. Because They Are.
This September, gather your crew, rally your network, and show up for Canadian patients who can’t afford to stand still.
