Chase Rice Featuring FGL Drinkin' Beer Talkin' God Amen #1 on ACC with Kix Brooks

Kix Brooks and ACC are on CISN Country 103.9 Edmonton and Country 105 Calgary Saturday’s 8 am to Noon.

Chase Rice Featuring Florida Georgia Line Drinkin’ Beer. Talkin’ God. Amen. is #1 on American Country Countdown.

“The journey of this song has been so special. Not only did it give me, Brian and Tyler the chance to work on music together again; it was also written on the bus at one of my last live shows before the world shut down and now it’s sitting atop the chart just as we’re getting back to enjoying live music together. The timing couldn’t be more perfect.”

Drinkin’ Beer. Talkin’ God. Amen. is from Chase’s LP The Album.

It’s Rice’s second Billboard Country Airplay #1.

Chase wrote the song with Cale Dodds, Corey Crowder and Hunter Phelps and produced with Crowder and Florida Georgia Line.

“We wrote this song before the COVID-19 pandemic, which is crazy because it’s almost like God was intervening in the song, Hey y’all, get ready. You’re gonna have a lot of time to sit around a fire, drink some beer and hang out with me. It’s a special song in that way because it really is a celebration of what 2020 became for us and a lot of other people slowing down to enjoy these moments with our loved ones and having deeper, more meaningful conversations with each other.”

“There’s nobody more special in my musical life than Brian and Tyler, so to be able to come back together after first making music together and to not only have a blast doing it, but to also get to see the song reach the top of the chart, is a dream come true. I’m so thankful to everyone who helped make this my second #1 as an artist, and I can’t wait to share what we have coming next.”

“Brian, Tyler and I used to live in a house together 10 years ago and we wrote a bunch of songs back then, so it’s really cool to be doing music for the first time in 10 years. It’s a really special song.” Chase Rice

The video was directed by the award-winning TK McKamy and was filmed on Chase’s Nashville property at an old tobacco barn.

“This song really just means a lot to us, because it’s real you know? It’s a story, it’s a song about the life that we live and what happens a lot of times when we get together and we’re reminiscing about life and talking about where we’re at, what we’re going through. Having a few drinks, and you know, just being real.” Tyler Hubbard

“I’ll never forget the day this song landed in a text message from Chase to myself and Tyler and he said hey boys, we gotta hop on this song. Let’s produce it together, let’s record it, let’s put it out, see what happens. Ya know, the first time I heard it, I was like ‘yo this song’s a hit, this song feels big it’s spiritual, it’s powerful, it’s kinda like a party song. It’s got all these emotions and all these feelings in it. And already was drawn to it just by the title alone.” Brian Kelley
