Down To One is Caroline’s, Luke’s wife, favourite song from his seventh LP, Born Here, Live Here, Die Here.
“She always wants me to put out fun songs. She’s like, Nobody wants to hear a bunch of sad, depressing stuff. Put fun, fun, fun. She’s always the champion of fun and dancing.”
In Canada on the Billboard Country National Airplay chart, Down To One was #1 for three weeks.
Down To One was co-written by Dallas Davidson with Justin Ebach and Kyle Fishman.
“This is one that keeps coming up as a favorite from so many fans since I released this album.”
The deluxe edition of Born Here, Live Here, Die Here, with six new songs, will be available on April 9th, 2021.

Friday, March 5th, Luke released the new track Drink A Little Whiskey Down.
“Down to one is a real kind of typical song from me that you’d expect through the years. The first time I heard it, it’s written by one of my dear friends Dallas Davidson, who I’ve had a lot of success with as a co-writer, it just sounds like a big ol’ hit. A guy and a girl out there in the middle of nowhere, enjoying a romantic moment together, and I always feel like you’ve gotta have those on an album.”
Luke Bryan’s Proud To Be Right Here Tour kicks off May 29th, 2021, at Soaring Eagle Casino & Resort in Mount Pleasant, Michigan.
“No one will be more emotional in the room than me. Getting to get back to doing what you love is gonna be really powerful. I think these times have made everybody truly reflect on what’s truly important.”
“I absolutely love this song!. Down To One has a melody that just locked me in the first time I heard it. I know a lot of artists feel this way, but I’m definitely looking forward to doing this one live.”
