Luke Combs wrote Better Together with Dan Isbell and Randy Montana.

“I just love writing songs and singing them. People seem to enjoy them, and that’s all you can really ask for.”

Better Together is one of five new songs featured on the deluxe edition of his LP, What You See Ain’t Always What You Get.

Luke’s sophomore album, What You See Is What You Get, recently was certified double platinum by the RIAA.

Luke’s Better Together is also #1 in Canada on the Billboard Canada Country National Airplay chart.

“I don’t necessarily want to be the love song guy, but I feel like kind of I am right now, which is just kind of where I was and happened to be at the moment.”

Gabby Barrett’s I Hope has spent 25 weeks #1 on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart.

Gabby and her husband, Cade Foehner, announced the birth of their daughter, Baylah May Foehner, on Monday, January 25.

Gabby and Cade met on the 16th season of American Idol and were married on October 5th, 2019, in Texas.

When did Luke Combs finally feel like he made it in Country music?

“I think the honest answer to that would be when I could pay my bills doing music and not have to do another job. That was making it for me. That was the goal, was not having to work 40 hours. Not have to do the cubicle office grind thing.”

“I mean I would say I made it in 2011 or 12. I mean, I was playing shows three or four nights a week and didn’t have to work and was just writing music and hanging out and to me, that was the dream, you know? I didn’t think that I had to be any particular thing and obviously those goals and desires to achieve things change over time, which they have now. You know, if I can just pay my bills doing music, that’s making it in my opinion.”
