“This song is pretty special to me because it was one of the first songs I wrote when I moved here. just about something I was going through, and it kind of helped me get through it.”

Morgan co-wrote Chasin’ You with Jamie Moore and Craig Wiseman.
Chasin’ You is the fourth single from his LP If I Know Me that just celebrated its first anniversary by being released on vinyl.
“This is probably gonna be my last song off this album, and I kind of wanted to show a different side of me, you know, musically and vocally. And I got to write it with Craig Wiseman, too, who is one of my good buddies and a mentor of mine. So it’s just a special song all around to me.”
Morgan is expected to release his sophomore LP later this year.
“I remember the day we wrote this song. I had just moved to Nashville not even six months prior. I had never written with Craig or Jamie before, so I knew I needed to bring my A-game. They both made me feel comfortable and inspired. When writing the song I never imagined that it would be a #1 or that I’d be singing it in front of thousands of people. It’s crazy to think about what all has transpired in my life since that day. But that day spurred a song, relationships, and a confidence that has helped me tremendously this far in my career.”
“Thank you to everyone on my team for believing in me since day one. From my managers, producer, agent, label, promo staff, publishers, and so many more. Thank you to country radio for also believing in me and showing me support. I’ll never forget your kindness. We’re all chasin’ something it seems, with this song we were chasin’ a #1 looks like we were blessed enough to catch it.”
Morgan Wallen’s follow-up single, More Than My Hometown, hits country radio next Wednesday May 27th.
