“There were a lot of lines that stood out in this song, but the one line that stood out to me, honestly, is the same line that I think stands out to everybody else. The wrist tattoo bible verse line, because people don’t call this song I Don’t Know About You, which is the real name of it. I don’t care if I’m in a grocery store or whatever, people will come up and say, I love your wrist tattoo bible verse song. So, people have associated that line as being the line of the song.”

It’s the second single from Lane’s third LP Laps Around the Sun released in July 2018.

Chris Lane first hit #1 on the Country Airplay chart back in 2016 with Fix.

“I’m so proud of this song and all who worked really hard to make this happen. Thank you to the songwriters who let me record it and country radio for playing it, and a huge shout-out to the fans.”

The couple celebrated their engagement last weekend surrounded by family and friends at the Cuddle Creek Farm in North Carolina and Bushnell revealed she would have gotten married right then and there.

“Even though I felt pretty confident I was going to get the yes, I’ve never been that nervous. When I got to the third verse of the song and knew it was time, I pretty much blacked out. The next thing I knew, she said yes and the nerves just lifted. It’s an explosion of excitement, pure joy, and love.”

It’s what you do after that that determines your moment and your mood for the rest of the day. But hopefully, if you get in a good mood stay in that mood, git up!”
