This is Lee’s 5th #1 Country Airplay song. His first since I Don’t Dance in August of 2014.

Lee’s other #1’s were A Woman Like You in April 2012, Hard To Love in November 2012 and I Drive Your Truck in April 2013.

Rumor was written by Lee Brice, Ashley Gorley and Kyle Jacobs. It’s the second single from Lee’s self-titled fourth LP.

When describing Rumor Lee said it’s a natural throwback to the small town he grew up in where rumor travels quickly true or false.

“I’ve had such amazing fan support around ‘Rumor.” “Watching it hit #1 on the Billboard chart is unreal. I’m truly grateful, especially for the incredible fans who have supported it by tuning in, downloading, streaming and coming to see our shows. And have you seen the video? That’s one of my favorite things about this song it stars my gorgeous wife Sara.”

Good news for those looking for new Lee Brice music. He is back in the studio working on some fresh tracks.

April 21st 2013 Lee Brice married his longtime girlfriend Sara Nanette Reeveley.

Brice decided that the right time to propose was on January 2nd 2012 in Key West Florida. “I walked around the corner and acted like I was putting on my bracelet. Saying hey I think I may wear my rings tonight and asked her if she would wear one. I pulled hers out of my hand got down on one knee and asked her.”

Another great country love story was featured in the video for I Don’t Dance. It includes personal footage from Lee and Sara’s wedding.

The couple have three children: sons Takoda Brice-Reeveley born in 2008, Ryker Mobley Brice born in 2013, and daughter Trulee Nanette Brice born in 2017.

Lee Brice recently played the Ponoka Stampede June 27th. He loved the big tractor that moved the stage for his rainy night show.

Lee is back in Canada for two shows. Cowboys Music Festival in Calgary July 11th and Rockin’ River Music Festival August 4th in Merritt BC.
