Calm down…deep breaths…this is going to be awesome! Saturday July 13th the Lexus of Edmonton Dog City Festival starts around 11:30 at the Whitemud Equine Learning Centre Grass Park and Showring
There will be so much going on that day. There will be food from Northern Chicken, Prairie Catering and Sandwich & Sons, craft beer, wine an outdoor stage with music all day annnnnnd healthy treats for your lil furry buddy!! We will also be attempting to set the WORLD RECORD for the biggest ever outdoor dog yoga class
There is also a really fun area for your pup to go offleash where they can zoom through an obstacle course, check out the splash zone and get a pic with you :).

“A full day of fun for you and your best friend! Enjoy great live music including Kat Danser, Paul Woida, Ann Vriend and many more talented Alberta artists. Enjoy delish food from Northern Chicken, Prairie Catering and Sandwich & Sons while enjoying craft beers, wine and healthy treats for your furry friend. Tire fido out in the off leash Wagzone complete with obstacle course, splash zone, photo area and more. You don’t have to be a dog owner to attend but you must be a dog lover!
To launch the festival at 11:30AM we will be attempting to set a NEW WORLD RECORD FOR THE BIGGEST EVER OUTDOOR DOGA (DOG YOGA) CLASS. (The Doga class is free but does not include the rest of the festival. You must register for the free doga class through the ticket link.) If we break the current world record of 270 Doga participants everyone will recieve a commorative gift.
The main stage will also feature great dog training advice from professionally led workshops throughout the day. Shop unique dog vendors and enjoy free samples, toy testing, treat making and more. There will be great prizes for best dressed dog, best owner look alike and most unique dog between 1-3pm.
This event is all ages and children 14 and under are free. Like life with dogs we are a”rain or shine” event so bring your blankets, lawn chairs. leashes, and appropriate outdoor attire. Only well behaved dogs please. There is plenty of free onsite parking.”
