Free movie day is BACK!! Here's what you need to know

You may remember a couple weeks ago Leon Draisaitl, from your Edmonton Oilers, made news for his massive donation to charity. He pledged to donate $150,000/year for the next 8 years to “We Day”
We Day, which will be held in Edmonton for the first time this year, celebrates the difference young people make through volunteerism. You can read more about all that here.

On Saturday October 27th, Cineplex is hosting their 8th annual “Community Day” in support of that same We Charity. What does that mean for you? FREE MOVIES!!

Not only can you watch movies for free, but snacks are only $2.50! That does include popcorn, pop and some candy. Here’s how you can give a little more to help the charity.

“In exchange for a $2.50 donation to WE Charity, all participating theatres will also be selling a variety of fun, movie-themed merchandise including plush toys, action figures, keychains, accessories, drink toppers, popcorn holders and more!

100% of the money raised is going to WE Charity, part of WE – a family of organizations that makes doing good, doable”

Doors open at 9:30 and it works on a first come, first serve basis. So what can you go see?
