Jason Aldean Second Week at #1 You Make It Easy on ACC with Kix Brooks

The 20th #1 song for Jason Aldean You Make It Easy, tops the country chart for a second week on ACC with Kix Brooks. You Make It Easy is from Aldean’s LP Rearview Town. American Country is heard every Saturday 8am-Noon on CISN Country 103.9.

Jason Aldean’s Kitchen + Rooftop Bar will open in Nashville at 305-311 Broadway in June. The 27,000-square-foot, four-story entertainment complex will feature music on every floor, 250 dining seats, live entertainment, Southern food and six bars, including a rooftop bar.

“Nashville is thriving right now, and it’s just a good time to be in Nashville, a good time for businesses like that, and having a place for people to go and have fun,” he said. “If there’s one thing I like to do other than music, it is to have fun. So, if nothing else, I’ve got a cool place to go if I want to go downtown.”

“We’ve been working on this for a while and I’m looking forward to having everyone in town for CMA Music Fest help break it in.” Aldean will join fellow country stars John Rich, Alan Jackson, Dierks Bentley, Florida Georgia Line and Blake Shelton who have all put their names on entertainment spaces up and down Broadway.

Little Big Town will host the CMT Music Awards live from Nashville on June 6 at 8 p.m. ET. Jason Aldean, Florida Georgia Line and Carrie Underwood lead the nominations with four each. Voting to determine the winners in each category is underway at CMT.com through 12:01 a.m. ET on June 4.

The top five video of the year finalists will be announced the morning of the show, and fans will be able to vote for their favorites in the category all day and throughout the special via Twitter.

Jason Aldean will hit 34 cities this summer on his High Noon Neon tour. He started things off on Thursday May 10th in Kansas City Missouri and will wrap up on September 29th in Irvine California.

Luke Combs and Lauren Alaina will join him for the tour. Canadian Aldean Army members can see Jason in Toronto September 15th at the Budweiser Stage.

“We named this tour after a song that’s on my new record” said Aldean. “It reminds me of the bars I grew up playing in Georgia when I was getting started. We’re going to bring some of that raw energy out this summer with Luke and Lauren I know we’re all ready.”

Jason Aldean’s wife, Brittany, will celebrate her first Mother’s Day Sunday, May 13th, thanks to five-month-old son, Memphis. But although Brittany might be a new mom, her proud husband says she is handling the job like a pro.

“She’s great,” Jason boasted to PopCulture.com at a recent media event. “She’s one of those people that have never really been around kids a ton, especially babies and stuff.

Her sister has two daughters, but she didn’t really live close to them while they were little. She’s just never really been around babies a ton, and she’s one of those that was worried, if she was going to be a good mom.

“Now I see her with him, and how good she is with him, it’s pretty cool,” he added. “She’s actually great, a great mom, and her favorite thing is bath time. She’d give him five baths a day, just because she likes to see him in the tub.

He likes getting baths anyway. You notice a lot of her pictures are him in the tub, or getting out of the tub, or whatever. That’s their little special part of the day, is bath time. She’s actually doing great. She’s really good with him.”

“At first, she was a little overwhelmed,” conceded Jason. “She got home, she didn’t know what to do ever. It’s just like, ‘He’s crying, is he hungry?’

I’m like, ‘Just because they’re crying, doesn’t always mean their hungry. It could be a few things. Let’s go through the checklist.’ Now she’s picked it up and now she’s rocking, she’s doing awesome.”

Jason is already a proud dad to his two daughters, 15-year-old Keeley and Kendyl, ten, so he was an experienced parent by the time Memphis was born.
